Pasay cops arrest 3 men for illegal possession of firearms
Members of the Pasay City police arrested three men for illegal possession of firearms in separate operations conducted on May 7 and 8.
Pasay City Police Chief Col. Mario Mayames identified the arrested suspects as alias Glen, 31, a resident of Tramo Riverside, Barangay 156, Zone 16, Pasay City; alias Den, 23, of Tramo St., Barangay 118, Pasay City; and alias Al, 21, of Primero De Mayo, Pasay City.
Mayames said Glen was arrested at around 8:00 p.m. on May 7 by members of Station Intelligence Section (SIS) after receiving a tip from an informant of a wanted male individual spotted inside a public cemetery located in Sgt. Mariano St., Pasay City. Recovered from alias Glen was a .38 caliber revolver.
The second suspect, Den, was arrested at around 12:45 a.m. on May 8 at the CBP compound, Mall of Asia Complex, by members of MOA-Substation 10. Confiscated from him was a .38 caliber revolver.
Mayames said the third suspect, Al, was arrested by members of Pasay Police Libertad-Substation 3 at the corner of EDSA and Metro Point Mall located in Barangay 97, Pasay City. He yielded a .38 caliber revolver with five live ammunitions.
He said the suspects are now detained at the police custodial facility after their arrest and charged for illegal possession of firearms.
