Biker dies from apparent heat stroke in Quezon

SARIAYA, Quezon -- A biker died from apparent heat stroke in Barangay Bucal here on Wednesday afternoon, May 8.

Police said the victim was discovered by a resident walking in the area lying on a grassy portion of the road.

His bike was found beside him.

Police said the victim was about 40-years-old and wearing a jacket.

The victim sustained no injuries and examination said he could have died from heat stroke.

Weathermen have reminded the people to take the necessary precautions against heat stroke this dry season.

Temperature here on Wednesday was 34 degrees Celsius and the heat index was about 41 degrees Celsius.
