SK chairman electrocuted to death

BACOLOD CITY – A Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) chairman was electrocuted to death in Barangay Bandila, Toboso, Negros Occidental on Wednesday, May 8.

Police identified the victim as 23-year-old Renan Tapang.

Police Major Jun Ray Batadlan, Toboso police chief, said Tapang had just finished bathing his child when he decided to replace a busted electric bulb.

However, his hands were still wet when he replaced the bulb and was electrocuted as a result.

The victim was declared dead in a hospital.
