Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) stalwart and presidential son Ilocos Norte 1st district Rep. Sandro Marcos isn't closing the door to a possible alliance with the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino (PDP).

"Alam mo naman po (As you know), politics is a game of addition. So, of course, anyone is welcome to join the alliance should they want," Rep. Marcos told House of Representatives reporters Wednesday afternoon, May 8, at the Manila Polo Club in Makati City.

The senior deputy majority leader says the PFP-Lakas alliance espouses unity, and is consistent with his father President Marcos' message during the May 2022 polls.

"I guess we are starting to see the mobilization of the different political factions and of course...the unity of these different political factions coming together," Rep. Marcos said.

"If you listen to the speech of the President during the PFP oath-taking, I believe he said that was his intent to be able to bring in as many of the parties as possible for the 2025 polls," he said.
