Las Piñas cops arrest 3 armed drug suspects during Oplan Galugad

Three armed drug suspects were arrested by members of the Las Piñas city police during their conduct of Oplan Galugad early Tuesday, May 7.

Las Piñas City Police Chief Col. Sandro Tafalla identified the suspects as alias Abdul of Parañaque City, alias Rick of Pasay City, and alias Migs of Las Piñas City.

Based on the report submitted to the Southern Police District (SPD), the suspects were arrested at around 2:20 a.m. at the corner of Malunggay and Hilahis Sts, Baragay BF International CAA, Las Piñas City during the conduct of “Oplan Galugad” and recovered from them 0.36 grams of shabu worth P2,448.00, one  improvised shotgun (sumpak) loaded with live ammunition, and one .9mm caliber pistol with four live ammunitions.

He said the suspects were detained at the police custodial facility after their arrest and were charged for illegal possession of drugs and firearms.
