2 drug suspects fall in shabu buy-bust in Pateros

A man and a woman were arrested by authorities in a buy-bust operation conducted on May 7 in Pateros.

The Pateros Police Drug Enforcement Unit and Intelligence Section conducted the operation at about 6:30 a.m. in Barangay San Roque.

Arrested during the operation at their residence were alias Popoy, 50, tagged by the police as an alleged high value individual, pusher and user; and alias Melissa, 45, an alleged street level individual, pusher and user.

The police confiscated 13 plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 50.45 grams valued at P343,060; P1,000 buy-bust money; digital weighing scale; and a smart phone.

The two suspects are under the custody of the Pateros Police pending further investigation and filing of complaint against them for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
