US tech solutions firm offers 250 new jobs


American managed services provider (MSPs) IT By Design (ITBD) will open 250 new job opportunities as it expands its operations in the country with a newly opened office space in Taguig City.

ITBD, which is registered with the Board of Investments (BOI), specializes in outsourced, managed and support services such as “technology and infrastructure design, cybersecurity services, cloud services, network design and network operations center services, business helpdesk services, dedicated tech talent staffing services, and SaaS software solutions for talent management.

The firm is currently recruiting for the following positions: Computer Engineers, Network Engineers, System Administrators, Technology Solution Architects, Software Development Engineers, Business Analysts, and Business Development Representatives.

ITBD CEO Sunny Kaila cited Filipinos’ “high level of technical expertise and adaptability” and the country’s  “potential talent pool” as reasons for scaling their operations.

"Our customers in the US are asking for Filipino talents, which is why we've decided to expand our operations in the Philippines," Kaila remarked.

“We're also bringing in our AI experts from the US to build the capability of Filipino cloud engineers and make them even more competitive as demands for IT jobs continue to grow because of AI,” he added.

Trade Undersecretary and BOI Managing Head, Ceferino S. Rodolfo lauded the expansion of ITBD, saying it enables further opportunities for the Filipino workforce to thrive.

"Each additional job created through foreign direct investment (FDI) is crucial and significantly enhances the quality of life for Filipino families. It represents not only economic advancement but also the realization of dreams and the potential for a brighter future," he said.

At present, ITBD serves ten information technology (IT) MSPs in the US, and is seeking to get new clients in the Philippines. It will provide 100 percent export services to small and medium businesses engaged in MSPs and ICT in the US. 

Moreover, ITBD is also eyeing a new office in Clark, Pampanga, similar to its new facility in Taguig.
