Pasig City is one of the beneficiaries of the national government’s Government Quality Management Program (GQMP).
The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) held an orientation about ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System (QMS).
It was attended by chiefs and technical officers of the offices/departments of the Pasig City government so that the officials would be familiar with the requirements and the process to be followed under the GQMP administered by DAP.
The Technical Assistance (TA) will last for eight months to help the city government establish a QMS and also promote "process improvements" to improve its service delivery to external and internal stakeholders.
The orientation is just one of the series of activities that are part of the "road-to-QMS" of the Pasig City Government.
Also part of the orientation was the signing of the "Pledge of Commitment" by representatives from the departments/offices of the city government as a symbol of their support and "commitment" to the development of the QMS .
