ILOILO CITY – Police have arrested three men wanted for murder in Iloilo province.
The Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) caught the suspects – Harry, Bill, and Joe – in Janiuay town, Iloilo last Monday, May 6.
The suspects were in the Top 10 most wanted criminals in Western Visayas region.
The 30-year-old Harry was ranked as the region’s fourth most wanted, the 23-year-old Billy was the fifth, and 23-year-old Joe was the sixth.
The trio was allegedly involved in a hacking incident on October 23, 2023 in Barangay Quipot, Janiuay.
The IPPO leadership lauded the successful operation led by the Janiuay Municipal Police Station.
“This arrest underscores their commitment to pursuing justice for the victims and their families. I also thank the Ilonggos for supporting our campaign against wanted persons,” said Police Col. Bayani Razalan, interim IPPO chief.
The Janiuay MPS was backed by the IPPO Provincial Intelligence Unit, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-6, and the 603rd Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion-6.
