Weather update

PAGASA said the warm winds from the Pacific Ocean, also known as “easterlies,” will be the dominant weather system in the country for the next 24 hours.

Weather specialist Daniel James Villamil said no weather disturbances are expected to affect the country in the next three to five days.

However, he said PAGASA is still monitoring a cloud cluster outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) or “near the southeastern portion of PAR,” which may develop into a low pressure area (LPA) “later this week.”

The possibility of the brewing LPA entering the PAR "early next week" is also not ruled out, Villamil said.
