Ilocos region's fourth most wanted person caught

CAMP FLORENDO, La Union – Police arrested the fourth wanted person in the Ilocos region or Region 1 in Rosario, La Union last May 2.

Police Brig. Gen. Lou F. Evangelista, PRO-1 director, said the 21-year-old male suspect was a resident of Barangay 55-A, Barit-Pandan, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.

The suspect was arrested on a warrant for murder dated April 15, 2024, issued by Judge Johnson Valin Padre, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, Branch 13, Laoag City. No bail was recommended for the suspect.

Police presented the suspect to the court and his status in the PNP Enhanced E-Warrant and National Police Clearance System had been updated for further monitoring and record-keeping.

Evangelista cited the arrest of the suspect.

“This significant achievement underscores the unwavering commitment of PRO-1 in upholding the rule of law and ensure the safety and security of the community,” Evangelista said.
