2 farmers shot dead in Quezon

CAMP NAKAR, Lucena City, Quezon – Two farmers were gunned down in Sariaya and Tiaong towns, this province, on Sunday, May 5.

Police identified the victims as Joseph, 33, of Barangay Cabay, Tiaong, and Reynaldo, 50, of Barangay Lutucan Malabag, Sariaya.

Joseph was walking when a man appeared and shot him. The victim died on the spot from multiple bullet wounds. Recovered in the area were a live bullet and three fired caliber .45 cartridges.

Reynaldo was walking on his way home a gunman appeared and shot him in the body. He died on the spot from bullet wounds.

The suspects fled and are now the subject of police manhunt.
