Widow gunned down in Ilocos Sur

TAGUDIN, Ilocos Sur â€“ A 59-year-old widow was shot dead in Barangay Libtong here on Thursday night, May 2.

Police said the victim, Flora L. Villamar, was in front of her house after talking to her two siblings when men on board a motorcycle appeared and shot her with a caliber .45 pistol.

Villamar sustained multiple bullet wounds and was taken to a hospital where she was declared dead.

The suspects fled to an unknown direction. Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
