Taguig LGU inaugurates new multi-purpose building


The Taguig City government unveiled a new multi-purpose building in Purok 2, Barangay Upper Bicutan. 

The multi-purpose building, which has five storeys with different facilities, was inaugurated as part of Taguig’s 437th founding anniversary. 

The first floor has the Barangay Affairs Office, City Social Welfare and Development, Office of Senior Citizens Affairs, Person with Disabilities Affairs Office, Taguig City Police Station, and a Child Development Center.

The second floor houses the offices for barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan officials. 

An e-library is situated on the third floor along with the office of the Taguig City Integrated Service System. 

The fourth floor has a Training Plaza for community training and seminars and a dedicated evacuation area during disasters or emergencies. 

The fifth floor has a playing court for young athletes to train and develop their skills.

Mayor Lani Cayetano led the inauguration of the building. 

The construction of the multi-purpose building is a project supported by the mayor and Senator Alan Peter Cayetano during their term as Taguig’s Second District representative and Speaker of the House.
