Overnight police operations in Rizal yield more than P100,000 worth of illegal drugs

More than â‚±105,000 worth of suspected shabu were seized in five separate operations by police stations in Rizal Province from May 2 to 3.

In his report to Region 4-A Police Director Brigadier General Paul Kenneth Lucas, Rizal Police Provincial Office (PPO) Director Col. Felipe Maraggun said seven individuals were arrested during the respective buy bust operations in various parts of the province.

Police said around 15.57 grams of suspected shabu were seized from the arrested suspects who yielded an estimated amount of â‚±105,876 of the illegal drugs.

Earlier the PPO in its monthly accomplishment report to the Region 4-A Police Office, flaunted the arrest of 175 persons and the confiscation of 753.41 grams of shabu valued at â‚±5,383,828, for the month of April.

Aside from the operations against illegal drugs, the Rizal PPO also claimed the arrest of 19 persons on the drive against loose firearms; 175 on illegal gambling, and 184 wanted persons were sent to jail during the past month.
