Easterlies to bring hot, humid weather with scattered rain showers to some parts of Philippines
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Saturday, May 4, said hot and humid weather will persist in the country.

PAGASA said the easterlies or the warm winds from the Pacific Ocean remained the dominant weather system in the country.
In Davao Region and Sarangani, cloudy skies with scattered rain showered and thunderstorms will be felt due to the easterlies.
PAGASA warned the public of flash floods or landslides that may occur during moderate to heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies or localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA also warned the public of flash floods or landslides in the affected areas during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, based on PAGASA’s extended weather outlook from May 5 to May 7, the actual air temperatures in some key areas will be 26–37°C in Metro Manila, 27-38°C in Tuguegarao City, 26-33°C in Legazpi City, 18–27°C in Baguio City, 27–32°C in Metro Cebu, 27–33°C in Iloilo City, 26–33°C in Tacloban City, 25–33°C in Metro Davao, 25–34°C in Zamboanga City, and 24–32°C in Cagayan de Oro City.
