Man arrested for P340,000 shabu in Taguig

The Taguig Police arrested a man, tagged as a high-value individual (HVI), in a buy-bust operation on May 31.

The suspect, identified as alias Mac-Mac, 33, was nabbed in a buy-bust operation at 5 a.m. on Cayetano Boulevard in Barangay Ususan, Taguig.

During the operation, the Taguig Police’s Station Drug Enforcement Unit confiscated five plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, another plastic sachet containing 50 grams of suspected shabu with a value of P340,000, a genuine P500 bill used as buy-bust money, and P7,000 used as boodle money.

A complaint will be filed by the Taguig Police against the suspect before the Taguig City Prosecutor’s Office.for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
