House Deputy Speaker and Las Piñas City lone district Rep. Camille Villar treated 200 mothers to a day of free pampering as part of her ongoing drive to help indigent families, especially poor pregnant women and their children.
These mothers are members of the CAMoms Community, a Facebook group where moms engage in healthy discussions with other moms, share experiences and household tips, and other support services.
“Importante ang self-love. Mahalagang alagaan natin ang ating mga sarili nang sa gayon ay maayos nating maalagaan ang ating pamilya,” Villar told the beneficiaries.
(Self-love is important. It is important that we take care of ourselves so that we can properly take care of our family.)

Villar, who is also the CEO of ALL Value Group and managing director of Vista Land, had lively discussions with the CAMoms as their kids enjoyed the inflatable play areas set up at the Golden Acres in Talon Uno, Las Piñas.
“Gusto kong iparamdam sa inyo na naiisip ko kayo, na nandito ako para tumulong sa inyo,” the lawmaker said.
(I want to let you know that I am thinking of you, and that I am here to help you.)
The mothers availed of free haircuts and check-ups. There were also raffles for items such as electric fans and rice cookers.
The beneficiaries of this activity came from Barangays Pamplona Dos, Almanza Uno, Almanza Dos, Talon 1 to 5, and Pilar.
As part of Villar’s “Nanay Fair” program, the lady solon has been giving financial and medical assistance to poor pregnant women to help them during their pregnancy.
“Importante ang maayos na support system para sa ating mga nanay,” she said.
(A proper support system is important for our mothers.)
