Driver nabbed for illegal possession of gun, explosive in Taguig
A driver was arrested by the police for illegal possession of firearm and explosive in Taguig on May 30.
The suspect, alias Roger, 47, was arrested by the Taguig Police at about 8:45 p.m. in Barangay Lower Bicutan.

According to the Taguig Police, a Barangay Information Network (BIN) provided a tip that Roger was seen brandishing a firearm.
Intelligence operatives responded and upon arriving in the area, they found the suspect in possession of a .38-caliber revolver.
During the search after his arrest, they also discovered a 40 mm cartridge ammunition but he failed to provide the documentation for the firearm and explosive.
His arrest was for alleged violations of Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) for illegal possession of firearm and ammunition, and Republic Act 9516 for illegal possession of an explosive.
