Dominic Roque takes legal action against Cristy Fermin

Dominic Roque seemingly aped ex-sweetheart Bea Alonzo recently, filing a cyber libel complaint against veteran showbiz scribe and vlogger Cristy Fermin at the Pasig City Prosecutor's Office.

A GMA report said the actor is complaining over what he deemed were "malicious statements and innuendos" that Cristy supposedly issued relating him on her vlog, "Showbiz Now Na," including how he supposedly had a politician benefactor.

“The malicious and baseless innuendos were quickly picked up by social media netizens, several of whom even uploaded a photo of Dapitan City Mayor Bullet Jalosjos, without his knowledge and consent. There is absolutely no truth to these malicious innuendos,” his statement read.

Dominic's legal counself pointed out that by doing so, Cristy “acted outside the bounds of protected free speech” and “intentionally caused damage to the integrity and honor” of their client, among other personalities.

Note that apart from Dominic and Bea, celebrity couple Sharon Cuneta and Kiko Pangilinan as with Sarah Lahbati, also have filed a cyberlibel complaint against Cristy.
