Pasay Mayor Emi thanks outgoing police chief for good leadership

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano thanked Col. Mario Mayames for his service in the city during the turnover of command held at the Pasay City Session Hall on Friday, May 31.
Rubiano said Mayames showed a remarkable work in terms of maintaining the peace and order during his stint as the city police chief.
Mayames, who will be assigned to the Manila Police District, was replaced by Col. Samuel Pabonita.
In welcoming Pabonita, Rubiano emphasized the importance of strong leadership in maintaining peace and order in the city. She assured him of the city’s full support to his leadership.
Pabonita, for his part, expressed his commitment to continue the excellent law enforcement and community services established by his predecessors.
He also pledged to work closely with the local government and the community to enhance the safety and security of the city.
Southern Police District (SPD) director Brig. Leon Victor Rosete lauded the achievements of Mayames and expressed his confidence on Pabonita's capability to lead the Pasay Police Station with integrity and dedication.
