Pasay LGU continues drive vs tuberculosis, offers free chest X-ray

The city government of Pasay is offering free chest X-ray screening to all residents as it continues the fight against tuberculosis.
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the city government offers free X-ray to residents aged 15 and above in three communities in the city from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Rubiano said the free X-ray will be conducted in Barangay 103 on June 13, Brangay 184 on June 20, and Barangay 43 on June 27.
She said the City Health Office (CHO) advised the residents suffering from cough for more than two weeks, fever, chest or back pain, sudden loss of weight, and those socializing with tuberculosis patients to visit the mentioned barangays.
The mayor also advised residents to coordinate with their nearest health center or call telephone number 8551-2026 for their checkup.
