"Diwata" may be the queen of the "overload pares" trend in Manila, but in Laguna, Congresswoman Ann Matibag believes there's a hearty, soupy meal that's just as good.

"Kung sa Manila may Diwata, kami naman dito sa San Pedro may Liwanag (If Manila has Diwata, then we in San Pedro have Liwanag)," the Laguna 1st district representative wrote in the recent Facebook post.

"Thank you you sa pa-take out Liwanag Overload Pares. First time to try this and masarap nga. Proudly made in San Pedro (Thank you for the take out Liwanag Overload Pares. First time to try this and it's good indeed)," Matibag added.

In her post, she tagged her hubby, lawyer Melvin Matibag, who appeared to enjoy Liwanag's bowl of happiness just as much.
