Newly-appointed Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Chairman Felix Reyes on Thursday, May 30, expressed his intention to correct the “misimpression” from recent Senate investigations into the operations of the PCSO.

During his first interview with PCSO since being appointed as chairman of the PCSO Board, Reyes pointed out that "those initiatives "created suspicions in the public's mind."
“Wala naman talagang katotohanan ang mga alegasyon laban sa PCSO. Ang problema ay naapektuhan ang imahe ng ahensya dahil dito (There is really no truth to the allegations against the PCSO. The problem is that the image of the agency has been affected because of this),” he said.
Reyes reiterated the agency's earlier invitation to lawmakers to witness and observe the actual draw process, enabling them to make objective recommendations.
As a lawyer and former judge, Reyes vowed that all actions of the PCSO will be within the bounds of the law.
On March 18, Senator Raffy Tulfo called the attention of the PCSO over the case involving an individual who won P600 million in lotto after betting P90 million at three lotto outlets.
This was clarified by PCSO General Manager Mel Robles, saying that there were no "investments" involved in any of its lotto games.
