Las Piñas LGU awards 30 elementary learners for academic excellence

The city government of Las PinÌƒas has recognized 30 elementary students with the Mayor Nene Aguilar Excellence Award and a cash incentive during their graduation rites on Wednesday, May 28.

Las PinÌƒas city Vice-Mayor April Aguilar attended the graduation rites of Talon Elementary School held at the covered court in Barangay Talon and personally awarded the 30 outstanding students with academic distinction.

Aguilar said the excellence award, named in honor of her late father, former Mayor Nene Aguilar, was given to recognize the hard work and dedication of students who have excelled in their studies.

She also congratulated the graduates and commended them for their perseverance and commitment to education.

The vice-mayor also told the students the importance of continuous learning and encouraged them to strive for excellence in all their future endeavors.

Aguilar also commended the proud parents, teachers, and local officials in coming all together to celebrate the milestones of the young learners.
