Road closures in Valenzuela City for 114th Feast of Señora Sta. Cruz and footbridge construction


The Valenzuela City government announced on Friday, May 3, that E. Rodriguez St. in Barangay Santulan, Malabon, will be temporarily closed on Saturday, May 4, to make way for the 114th Feast of Señor Sta. Cruz celebration.

According to the city government, the road will be closed from 6 p.m. on May 4 to 4 a.m. on May 5. It will reopen at 5 a.m. onwards.


However, the celebration will continue, and the road will be closed again from 6 p.m. until 4 a.m. on May 6.

Meanwhile, the city government also announced an interim road closure for 30 minutes along Malinta MacArthur Highway in front of the Valenzuela Special Education Center (ValSPED) from 11 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. on May 4 for the footbridge construction beam launching activity of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).


Motorists were advised to take alternative routes, the local government said.
