Muntinlupa public schools start holding graduation, completion ceremonies


Public schools in Muntinlupa have started holding graduation and completion ceremonies on May 29. 

Data showed that there are a total of 20,837 students who will complete and graduate in public schools in Muntinlupa this school year. 

Of the total, 4,919 are in junior high school; 6,933 in senior high school; 7,616 in the elementary; and 1,369 in the Alternative Learning System (ALS).

The schedule of graduation and completion ceremonies in Muntinlupa public schools 

ALS, according to DepEd, “is a parallel learning system in the Philippines that provides a practical option to the existing formal instruction. When one does not have or cannot access formal education in schools, ALS is an alternate or substitute. ALS includes both the non-formal and informal sources of knowledge and skills.” The two programs under ALS are the Basic Literacy Program and Continuing Education Program-Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E).  

Muntinlupa public schools holding graduation and completion ceremonies on May 29 are Muntinlupa Science High School, Tunasan National High School, Buli Elementary School, Muntinlupa National High School, Sucat Elementary School-Main, Bayanan Elementary School Unit 1, Muntinlupa Business High School-Annex, Alabang Elementary School-Main and Muntinlupa Business High School-Main. 

Mayor Ruffy Biazon has also started gracing end-of-school-year rites, attending the ceremonies at Muntinlupa Science High School and Muntinlupa National High School.
