It seems like Kiko Estrada is avoiding questions about working with his ex-girlfriend, Heaven Peralejo.

Kiko and Heaven are both currently under Viva Artists Agency, so the actor was asked about possibly working together on future projects.

Kiko quickly answered that he didn't know if it would happen.

"I don’t know. I just wish her the best, but maybe I have my own thing and she has her own thing. I mean, it’s just work for me, but I don’t want any stress in my life," said Kiko during an interview at the Viva office recently.

The actor also mentioned that his priority is focusing on his series "Lumuhod Ka sa Lupa," in which he plays the lead role alongside Sarah Lahbati.

"Lumuhod Ka sa Lupa came from peace, came from peace of mind, came from rebirth if you wanna call it—a new version of yourself that you’re trying to be, a good actor. So let me be that first, and let’s focus on the rest," he added.

In 2021, Kiko and Heaven dated for a while and called it quits after a few months.

The newest primetime king

From having his first lead role in a series, Kiko reached another milestone when "Lumuhod Ka Sa Lupa" moved to the primetime slot starting in June.

Kiko is very excited to show the audience what will happen to the show in the next few days.

"Lilipat na po tayo sa primetime. I am very blessed and honored to share this news with you. Nakakataba ng puso ang lahat ng suporta na ibinibigay ninyo sa show namin. I just want to thank everyone," Kiko said.

Coming from a long line of actors from both sides of his parents, Gary Estrada and Chesca Diaz, acting is definitely in Kiko’s blood. But it was his dedication to his craft and versatility as an actor that drove him to become one of the most bankable leading men of this generation.

He also got emotional when he mentioned that his late grandfather, Paquito Diaz, was one of his inspirations for making action films or series.

"He was my inspiration for all this. I wish he were here to see all of this. If he had been here, I would have done my scenes better. I just wish he saw this, and I hope I made him proud," Kiko said.
