3 drug suspects arrested in buy-bust ops in Pasay

Three drug suspects, one of them a woman, were arrested in a buy-bust operations in Pasay City on May 27 and 28.

Pasay City police Chief Col. Mario Mayames identified the suspects as alias Pung, 20, a woman and a resident of Saint Cecille St., Barangay 178; alias Pango, 46, a barangay watchman, of Cornejo St., Malibay, Pasay City; and alias Juneng, 18, of Gamban St., Cabrera, Pasay City.

Mayames said members of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU), in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), conducted buy-bust operations for the arrest of Pung who was listed in the police gallery as a street value individual on Monday, May 27.

He said Pung was arrested at around 9:30 p.m. Confiscated from her were about 3.83 grams of shabu worth P25,976.

The city police chief said the two male drug suspects, Pango and Juneng, were nabbed at around 2:30 p.m. on May 28 along E. Rodriguez St., Barangay 165, Pasay City by members of Substation 6.

Mayames said confiscated from the suspects were 14 plastic sachets containing about 7.56 grams of shabu worth P51,408.

He said the suspects are now detained and were charged for illegal possession of drugs.
