The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) participated in the simultaneous showdown inspection of Philippine National Police (PNP) disaster response equipment capabilities at Camp Karingal, Quezon City on Tuesday, May 28.

In preparation for the rainy season, the activity aims to evaluate the readiness, serviceability, and completeness of the disaster response equipment, as well as the capabilities and performance of the Search, Rescue, and Retrieval (SRR) teams.
The PNP made sure that all equipment are in good condition and that personnel are prepared for rapid deployment in case of natural calamities.
Police Col. Rodrigo Bauto Jr, chief district directorial staff; Police Col. Jeovanny Emerick Sibalo, commander of District Mobile Force Battalion; district staff, and DHQ personnel also attended the activity.
"Our preparedness is key to effective disaster response. These inspections ensure that our equipment and teams are always ready to serve and protect the community, especially during emergencies," QCPD chief Police Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan said.
