Data from Nielsen Korea showed that “Lovely Runner ( 선재 업고 튀어)"  episode 16 got a nationwide rating of 5.762 percent in South Korea, up from the 5.297 percent it received for episode 15, achieving its highest since the drama started airing on April 8. It was watched by 1.66 million people in South Korea.

In Korea’s metropolitan area (Seoul, Incheon and Gyeonggi), the final episode of “Lovely Runner” garnered a rating of 7.208 percent, also its highest, up from 6.197 percent for episode 15. It was watched by one million people in the metropolitan area.

With the ratings, “Lovely Runner” maintained its No. 1 ranking among shows on paid platforms (cable, IPTV and satellite) in South Korea on May 28.

Kim Hye-yoon told Korean media outlet Donga Ilbo that “Lovely Runner” is a drama “that will remain in my memory for a very long time.”

“I haven't done that many works, but playing teenagers, people in their 20s, and 30s in one work makes me feel like I've seen 'Sol's Diary' and lived Sol's [her character] life for a moment. I think Sol is a person who always perseveres and overcomes difficult situations, and gets up right away without hesitating or breaking down. I learned a lot both as a person Kim Hye-yoon and as an actor Kim Hye-yoon,” she said.

Meanwhile, Byeon Woo-seok will hold his “Asia Fanmeeting Tour: Summer Letter in Manila” on June 22 at the New Frontier Theater.
