Five years after helping the San Miguel Beermen capture the 2019 PBA Commissioner's Cup title, the 29-year-old McCullough will suit up for SGA and represent the flag in the Taiwan tilt along with B.League veteran Kiefer Ravena, Jordan Heading, and Caelan Tiongson, to name a few.
"After so many years, it's truly surreal to be returning to the country. Even though it's just for a short while," said McCullough.
“The experience of flying back, training, and being in the Philippines again is going to be amazing,” he added.
McCullough has been playing nonstop in Asian, South American, and European circuits, including with Anyang KGC (South Korea), Rytas Vilnius (Lithuania), Al-Ahli (Bahrain), and Gigantes de Carolina (Puerto Rico).
He currently plays for the Formosa Dreamers in the P.League+ where he averages 18.8 points and 12.5 rebounds and led them into the semifinals.
SGA is longing to break the five-year title drought of the Philippines in the annual cagefest. Last year, the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters joined the tournament and concluded their campaign at fifth.
