Cops seize p14 M worth of shabu in North Cotabato buy-bust; 3 suspects arrested

Anti-narcotics operatives of the Philippine National Police (PNP) seized around P14 million worth of shabu following the arrest of three suspected drug pushers in North Cotabato.

PNP-Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG director Brig. Gen. Eleazar Matta said the operation stemmed from the confirmed reports of the alleged illegal drugs trade of a group of drug pushers in Pigcawayan town.

They were later identified as Marhaya Aziz Abdullah, 36; Kadapi Karim Jaca , 45; and, Ridzmer Nasher Abdulkara, 38.

A buy-bust was immediately mapped out on Tuesday morning, May 28, in Barangay Balogo which resulted in the arrest of the three suspects.

Seized from them were more than two kilos of shabu with a street value of P13.9 million.

Matta said those arrested are now under the custody of the local police and facing appropriate criminal charges.
