Woman shoots live-in partner dead in Quezon

GUMACA, Quezon – A 57-year-old land developer was killed while his daughter was wounded after his live-in partner shot them at dawn on Sunday in Elas Memorial Park, Barangay Butaguin, this town.

Police chief Police Major Marnie Abellanida identified the fatality as Raynaldo, owner of Elas Land Development Inc.

Abellanida said a heated argument erupted between the victim and suspect, Marycris, 37.

Marycris obtained a handgun at the height of the argument and shot Raynaldo in the head. He died on the spot.

The suspect proceeded to the bedroom of Tina, Raynaldo’s daughter, and shot her, after which Marycris shot herself.

Marycris died and Tina was taken to a hospital. Police recovered a 9mm pistol in the crime scene.
