Pasig LGU issues traffic advisory for World No Tobacco Day motorcade

The Pasig City local government warned motorists that heavy traffic is expected in some roads in the city on Friday, May 31, due to a motorcade to be held in celebration of World No Tobacco Day.

According to the list issued by the city government, heavy traffic is expected from 10 a.m. onwards in the following roads:

- F. Legaspi Street (Maybunga Rainforest Park)
- West Bank Road
- A. Rodriguez Avenue
- Ortigas Avenue Extension
- Dr. Sixto Antonio Avenue
- Pasig Boulevard Extension
- C5 Road
- Pasig Boulevard
- Capt. Henry Javier
- Meralco Avenue
- Julia Vargas Avenue
- San Miguel Avenue
- Shaw Boulevard
- A. Mabini Street
- P. Burgos Street
- Lopez Jaena Street
- Kaunlaran Bridge
- M. Concepcion Street
- R. Jabson Street
- Caruncho Avenue
- F. Manalo St.
- Market Avenue

Celebrated annually every 31st of May, World No Tobacco Day aims to encourage people to abstain from consuming tobacco products for 24 hours.

The celebration also intends to raise awareness about the harmful influences of the tobacco industry especially to the youth.
