Members of the Pasay City police discovered suspected flowering tops of marijuana (Kush) and other drug paraphernalia inside an unattended package found at a bus terminal last May 24.
Col. Mario Mayames, city police chief, said the unattended package was discovered at around 11:30 inside the Partas Terminal located along Aurora Boulevard, Pasay City.
Mayames said a certain Christian who is assigned to the cargo service of the bus terminal discovered the unattended package wrapped in a green paper bag.
He said Christian waited for several hours for the owner to return and claim the package.
The city police chief said the security guard on duty at the termina alerted the duty police officer at the Police Assistance Desk identified as Pat. Christian Nisperos.
Mayames said Nisperos called the Pasay police Security Team (SECU) for assistance. The SECU immediately secured the area and inspected the unattended package.
Upon opening, they found one plastic bag containing suspected flowering tops of marijuana (kush) weighing 35 grams and worth P52,500.
Mayames said the package also contained four pieces of Turn Unicorn Party (21+) disposable vape pen devices containing suspected concentrated marijuana oil worth P 18,630.
