Drug suspect yields more than P2M of shabu in Pasay City, lands in jail

A man identified as a high-value drug suspect was arrested by combined law enforcement teams during a buy-bust operation on Sunday, May 26, in Pasay City.

The Southern Police District (SPD) said the suspect, identified as alias Noknok, 37, was arrested at around 1:00 p.m. in Barangay 75, Zone 10, Pasay City.

Police said the coordinated buy-bust operation was conducted by the combined teams from the District Drug Enforcement Unit of the Southern Police District (DDEU-SPD), District Intelligence Division of the SPD (DID-SPD), District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB-SPD), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Southern District Office (PDEA-SDO), Pasay City police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) and Sub-station 3 in Libertad Pasay City.

The SPD said confiscated from the suspect was 300 grams of shabu worth P2,040,000.

The confiscated shabu was turned over to the SPD Forensic Unit (SPDFU) for qualitative and quantitative analysis.

The arrested suspect is now detained at the police custodial facility and was charged for illegal possession of drugs.
