Drug den uncovered in Bulacan, 4 arrested

A drug den operator and his three accomplices were arrested by the Bulacan police after they yielded six plastic sachets of suspected shabu worth P68,000 during a buy-bust operation in Upper Quarry, Barangay Minuyan Proper, City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM) last Saturday, May 25.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Bulacan said the arrested operator of a makeshift drug den was identified as Joseph B. Degala, 42, of the same village.

Also arrested were Raquel Nugid Arante, 43, and Michael Flores Antoni, 27, both of Upper Quarry, Brgy. Minuyan Proper and Gildo Alinsunurin Gonzales, 32, of Lower Quarry, Minuyan Proper, all of CSJDM.

Confiscated from the suspects were assorted drug paraphernalia and the marked money used by the poseur buyer.

Criminal charges were being prepared for filing in court against the suspects as of this writing.
