ILOILO CITY – Police nabbed 300 wanted persons in Western Visayas from May 1 to 15.

“May these arrests serve as a clear message to those still evading the law that they cannot hide forever,” said Police Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky, Police Regional Office-6 chief.
The PRO-6 said 53 were most wanted persons and 266 were other wanted persons.
The Iloilo Provincial Police Office (IPPO) apprehended 16 MWPs, followed by Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) with 14, Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO), eight; Antique Police Provincial Office, seven; Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO), four; and one each by the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), Aklan Police Provincial Office, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-6, and Guimaras Police Provincial Office (GPPO).
NOCPPO caught 132 OWPs, IPPO, 52; Antique PPO and BCPO, 21 each; ICPO, 16; CPPO, 11; Aklan PPO, eight, CIDG-6 and Regional Mobile Force Battalion-6, two each, and GPPO, one.
Wanky cited police for their achievement.
