In the 8 p.m. bulletin, PAGASA said it maintained its maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gusts of up to 70 kph.

Due to this, PAGASA noted that "Aghon" may make landfall over Marinduque within the next 12 hours.

From there, it may continue by making another landfall over Batangas or Quezon before traversing the Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon (CALABARZON) area.

PAGASA also said that Aghon will bring moderate to rough seas over the coastal waters along the Calabarzon, Mindoro Occidental, Mindoro Oriental, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan (MIMAROPA), Bicol Region, and the northern seaboards of Western Visayas.

Mariners, especially those operating small boats or inexperienced vessels, are advised to exercise caution when venturing out into the rough seas.

At 5 p.m., as for rainfall predictions, PAGASA expects moderate to heavy rainfall on May 26 to 27 in parts of Luzon like Quezon (including Polillo Islands), eastern portions of Laguna and Rizal, Marinduque, Romblon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and Catanduanes.

Meanwhile, light to moderate rains may be experienced by parts of Isabela, Aurora Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, and Western Visayas.
