'BenCab + Moooi Carpets' collection headlines anew for Abitare

National Artist of the Philippines for Visual Arts, Benedicto Cabrera, or "BenCab," once again collaborates with Moooi Carpets and Abitare Internazionale for the "BenCab + Moooi Carpets, Edition 8" collection.

Dubbed "modern day tapestries," these digitally printed carpets by Moooi Carpets, a Dutch design firm, offer a contemporary take on the artist's famous works. They headline Abitare Internazionale's showroom at The Peninsula Manila's lobby as part of the "Art in Resonance" global arts program.

Under this program, Abitare Internazionale, the Philippines's distributor of top European furniture and home accessories, brings the best in contemporary design from around the world to the country.

"With an ever-changing collection, Abitare Internazionale is not only a showroom but an engaging proposal for living a meaningful life. Exceptional ideas from trailblazing Dutch lifestyle company Moooi and Moooi Carpets, Spanish furniture company BD Barcelona, Italian bed master Flou, furniture companies Natevo and Laura Meroni, Croatian design studio Prostoria, Dutch furniture company Montis, and cabinet maker Pastoe are among our selection of pieces," Abitare Internazionale stated.

The "BenCab + Moooi Carpets" collection at The Peninsula Manila will be showcased from May 22 to July 21, 2024. Meanwhile, private viewings at the showroom in Salcedo Village, Makati City, are available by appointment.
