Man in drug watchlist nabbed in Pasay City buy-bust

A man tagged in the police drug watchlist was arrested after he yielded P20,000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Pasay Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) on Friday night, May 24.

Pasay city police chief Col. Mario Mayames said the suspect, identified as alias Nek, 49, was arrested at around 9:25 p.m. on P. Manahan St. in Barangay 30, Zone 5, Pasay City.

Mayames said the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) coordinated with the team of SDEU for the arrest of Nek.

Confiscated from the suspect were four small heat-sealed transparent sachet containing about 2.95 grams of shabu worth P20,060, a P500 bill, and a cellular phone.

The suspect was brought to the police custodial facility after his arrest. He was with illegal possession of drugs.
