71,429 pass March 2024 Licensure Examination for Teachers — PRC


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Friday, May 24, that 20,890 out of 44,764 examinees—or 46.67 percent for the elementary level, and 50,539 out of 85,980 takers—or 58.78 percent for the secondary level—passed the March 2024 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT).

Mary Grace Manuel Bamba of the Bataan Peninsula State University- Dinalupihan; Khane Jevie Rose Solante Cervantes of Davao Oriental State University- Cateel Campus; and Queenie Macalindong Macatangay of the University of Batangas topped the LEPT results at the elementary level, averaging 94.40 percent.

Here are the top 10 LEPT successful examinees for the elementary level:

Javerson Loquina from Christian Colleges of Southeast Asia topped the secondary level results with an average of 92.80 percent.

The March 2024 LEPT was administered by the Board for Professional Teachers, headed by Chairman Rosita L. Navarro;  Vice Chairman Paz I. Lucido ; and  members Paraluman R. Giron and Nora M. Uy.

The examination was held on March 17 in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Catanduanes, Cauayan, Digos, Dumaguete, General Santos, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Laguna, Marinduque, Masbate, Mati, Romblon, and Tagum.

Passers who wish to participate in the face-to-face mass oath-taking must register at the PRC website no later than noon on the day before the scheduled oath-taking date.

Inductees must bring a vaccination card, or a negative real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test result obtained within 48 hours of taking the oath.
