2 drug peddlers caught in Batangas City

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna â€“ The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency caught two suspected drug pushers in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Alangilan, this city, on Thursday night, May 23.

TWO suspected drug pushers were arrested and shabu worth P340,000 was seized in a buy-bust operation on May 23 in Barangay Alangilan, Batangas City. (Photo via Danny Estacio)

The suspects were identified as Antonio Santa Barbara Jr., 43, a resident of Barangay Loma, BiÃ±an City, Laguna, and Bryan Villajin, 40, of Barangay Putatan, Mandaluyong City.

Seized from the suspects was 50 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P340,000 and the buy-bust money.

The suspects will face charges for violation of Article II of the Republic Act No 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
