Farmer shot dead in Quezon

CANDELARIA, Quezon â€“ A 48-year-old farmer was shot dead in Barangay Bukal Sur here on Wednesday morning, May 22.

Police identified the victim as Amado, a resident of Barangay Bukal Norte, this town.

Investigation said the victim was driving his tricycle on the barangay road when two men appeared and shot him in the head.

Amado died on the spot and the suspects fled on a motorcycle towards the Maharlika Highway.

Lawmen found a fired caliber .45 cartridge case at the crime scene.

Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
