There’s a saying that goes, "It's not the house that makes a home, but the people in it." This emphasizes that the community and environment are what truly create a special and welcoming place. This is what Red Planet Hotels wants its guests to feel, as they aim to capture the essence of the place, in this case, its newest property in Taguig – Red Planet BGC The Fort.

Red Planet Hotels introduced its BGC location as the latest addition to the Philippine portfolio, on May 17, 2024. This marks its 14th hotel in the country and the largest of all its properties.

Present at the event were Florent Humeau, CEO of Red Planet Hotels; Razon Mateo, hotel manager; and Gracie de Luna, marketing manager.
Over the past decade, the budget hotel industry in the Philippines has grown significantly, offering over 15,000 budget hotel rooms to a mix of domestic and international travelers – led by Red Planet Hotels, Go Hotels, and Hop Inn. Red Planet Hotels, with 2,453 rooms, is the top owner and operator of budget hotels in the country.

“There is no other budget hotel (in BGC) yet, so being the first one, being the most affordable hotel within BGC, it definitely makes a good opportunity for Red Planet,” Humeau said. Despite its competitive rates, the hotel maintains high-quality standards.

Located near 9th Avenue, the 245-key development offers solo rooms with a twin or queen-size bed, connecting rooms, and seven floors of indoor parking. The property also includes an advanced WiFi 6 for faster speeds and wider coverage, along with Google Chromecast for smooth streaming of your preferred movies and shows.

Red Planet Hotels values its community-focused hospitality, recognizing what Taguig City offers for its residents and tourists. The hotel is just a five-minute walk from some of BGC’s popular spots, including malls and restaurants.

"It is our mission to provide a home for our travelers where they can rest and recharge after exploring the beautiful city of Taguig," shared Humeau.
