1,000 Parañaque residents receive financial aid under ‘Ayuda para sa Kapos ang Kita’ program

A total of 1,000 beneficiaries in Parañaque received on Thursday, May 23, financial assistance under the Ayuda para sa Kapos ang Kita (AKAP) program of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

The distribution of financial assistance to beneficiaries of AKAP program was held at the Parañaque Sports Complex. It was led by the Department of Social Welfare and Development along with Congressman Edwin Olivarez and Mayor Eric Olivarez.

Cong. Olivarez said AKAP program aims to help the city's low-income earners meet their everyday needs.

Olivarez said the city has a total of 3,000 beneficiaries who will be given assistance under the “AKAPin natin ang Bagong Pilipinas. Isang Araw, Isang Milyon, Isang Bayan”.

He said the program was launched last May 16 in the city, with the first batch of 1,000 beneficiaries receiving financial assistance.
