Acer announces first AI laptop

Following the Microsoft Build event where they went big on AI and the future of PC, Acer is swift to announce their own AI laptop.
The Acer Swift 14 was developed in line with Microsoft’s vision of an AI PC. It is powered with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite and the Snapdragon X Plus, both highly anticipated chips believed to introduce users in the world of the AI PC.

The Snapdragon X chips are Qualcomm’s most powerful chips to date. They are designed for AI use and improves on multitasking.
During Microsoft’s Build event, they introduced Recall, an AI feature that will remember everything you’ve done on your PC, which makes it easier to backtrack on anything you might need. You’ll also be getting Live Captions with live translations for any recorded videos for 44 languages into English.
In addition to Copilot, the AI assistant that you received with the latest Windows update, you'll also gain access to other exciting features. These include Cocreator, Microsoft's previously announced AI image generator, and Windows Studio Effects, a suite of tools to enhance your images.
The laptop sports a, 14.5-inch, an IP display with a 2560x1600 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 100% sRGB color gamut. It’s also has a touchscreen option with with TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe Certification 2.0 to help minimize the effects of harmful blue light without sacrificing color accuracy.
The Acer Swift laptops have always looked impressive and sleek. So we expected nothing less with the Swift 14 AI. One of the newest things that you should take notice is the Copilot key, which brings out the AI assistant. The touchpad has what Acer calls the Activity Indicator, which lights up when Copilot is active.
Webcam gets a nice 1440p QHD IR with a triple microphone design. Privacy shutters, of course, so you won’t have to ruin your laptop with a tape. Video calls get AI –enhanced boosts with Acer’s PurifiedView 2.0 and PurifiedVoice 2.0.
Exact specs for each variant will depend on the region. This also includes exact prices. So far, we don’t have those numbers yet and we will update you once we have official confirmation.
