PRO-13 logs 98.21% crime clearance efficiency

CAMP COL. RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – The Police Regional Office-13 reported a 98.21 percent crime clearance efficiency from January 1 to April 30, 2024.

The Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division said PRO-13 has cleared 2,798 out of 2,849 total crime incidents.

CCE is the percentage of cleared cases out of the total number of crime incidents for a given period of time. A case shall be considered cleared when at least one of the offenders has been identified, there is sufficient evidence to charge him, and he has been charged before the prosecutor's office or any other court of appropriate jurisdiction.

In the same period, the PRO-13 recorded a 78.41 percent crime solution efficiency with 2,234 out of 2,849 total crime incidents solved.

PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Alan M. Nazarro lauded the efforts of police investigators.

“This number shows the commitment of our police investigators in ensuring justice for the victims,” he said.

“It aligns with our intensified crime-solving efforts thereby contributing to the peace and order in the region.”

Nazarro encouraged the PRO-13 police officers to help each other in making Caraga a peaceful region in Mindanao.
