'Tsismosa ka!': Man nabbed for threatening to kill sari-sari store owner in Muntinlupa
A man was arrested after he allegedly threatened to kill a "sari-sari" (variety) store owner he suspected of being a “tsismosa” (gossip) in Muntinlupa on May 20.
The incident happened on San Guillermo Street in Barangay Putatan, Muntinlupa at about 11:55 p.m.

The complainant, Rhona, 46, told the police that she was inside her sari-sari (variety) store when the suspect, identified only as alias Edwin, 38, approached her brandishing a firearm.
Edwin told Rhona, “Ate Rhona, tsismosa ka, papatayin kita! (Ate Rhona, you are a gossip, I will kill you!).”
This caused distress on Rhona who went inside her house and called the Putatan Police Substation.
Police officers arrived and saw the suspect in possession of the firearm which led to his arrest.
During the arrest, the police confiscated from him a .22 caliber revolver and four pieces of live ammunition.
Edwin, also a resident of Barangay Putatan, is detained under the custody of Muntinlupa Police and will be facing charges of grave threats and unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition.
